Our 2-day IUCLID seminars include a comprehensive introduction including installation instructions and a practice-orientated end user application. The training courses can also be customised to meet customer requirements.

Content of the 2-day intensive course on IUCLID focussing on REACH registration: 

• Short introduction to IUCLID6 and REACH-IT of ECHA
• IUCLID installation instructions
• Creating the legal entity object (LEOx)
• Migration of IUCLID5 datasets
• Creating substances, assigning substances to the reference substance
• Creating and handling templates - When is which procedure useful (for companies with a holding structure, data exchange in SIEF ...)?
• IUCLID data record entry and maintenance
  - Creation of new IUCLID endpoints
  - Creation of (robust) study summaries (endpoint study records) on physical, chemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological properties
  - Important aspects for the creation (e.g. classification of reliability according to Klimisch et al. 1997, What should be considered when evaluating studies?)
  - Creation of summaries for the respective endpoints (endpoint summaries)
• Creation of inquiry and registration dossiers for submission to the ECHA as IUCLID export file (*.i6z)
• Import / export of data in the form of i6z/i5z / xml files
• Technical completeness check (technical completeness check of the ECHA)
• Application of IUCLID tools (search, report generator, TCC, literature exchange) 
• Introduction to REACH-IT, the portal of the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency), for the submission of dossiers

The individual IUCLID chapters are explained step by step depending on the requirements of the dossier to be created (e.g. inquiry, quantity-dependent REACH registration dossiers, PPORD). Each participant creates the IUCLID data sets on their own computer in parallel with the instructor.

For CLP/GHS: If requested by the participants, you will also learn to use IUCLID for the notification to the ECHA Classification and Labelling Inventory according to the CLP Regulation.
